It's Christmas, and my girls and I are watching The Polar Express. I just wanted to let Dave and Audrey know I'm still thinking of Lizzy, and of them. Merry Christmas. I still hear the bells, and I know Lizzy does too.

Hey Lizzy,
Meghan isn't going to make it through her injuries. Her injuries were classified as "devastating". They are taking her off of her life support tomorrow and letting her make her own decision on which path she wants to go. Could you please look over her as she makes her decision? I know she will be happy to see you. You guys will be able to play soccer and just have lots of fun. Please keep us all safe too if you could. You're the most amazing person ever and I know Meg will be a wonderful asset to heaven. Love you and miss you so much. You both have very special places in my heart <3

Hey Lizzy, I'm sure you remember Meghan Herndon from playing against her in fenton soccer back in the 'ol days. Well, she was hit by a car today while on her scooter. She's not in good condition. She's in surgery right now, but she's suffering from pretty bad brain and lung injuries as well as a broken hip and leg and a fractured skull. Please please please watch over her tonight so she makes it. She's strong just like you. Thank you for being the best angel there is. Love you!

Happy Birthday Lizzy! Today I was remembering how much I loved playing soccer with you. We had a rough game last night and I started to wish that I could play with you again...even if it was only for one more game. Thanks for being my partner on the back line. I hope that today on your 22nd birthday you are playing soccer or volleyball, or both, up in heaven to celebrate. I love you and miss you so much but am so blessed to know I will see you again someday.

My little Elizabeth Belle started kindergarten today. We talk to her often about the girl she is named after. You and her would get along so well. She is smart, funny, strong, kind, and sporty - just like you! I think of you often, and when I'm missing you, I just give her an extra long hug.
