Lizzy,

We were all thinking about you and missing you in German 3 last week. You mom brought us in some of her grandmother's apple pie. It was awesome! I don't even remember how/why she came up with the idea, but we all were grateful that she did. We just wished that you could have been piling some ice cream on too. Your spirit is still a big part of our class and we miss you a lot! Tell your great-grandmother that her apple pie is delicious!

This is the first beautiful day we have had in I can't remember when -- last I looked it was 70 degrees and the sun warming my face as I drive home from church. That's where my story takes place -- while attending a memorial service at church today I noticed a beautiful young lady way up front in church that looked a lot like Lizzy Bell. The service was so packed that I ended up separated from my hubby and standing in the church foyer entrance with the doors wide opened. After noticing the young lady that looked like Lizzy, with tears in my eyes, I looked outside the opened church doors to notice the gorgeous blue sky sparsely dotted with a cloud or two and just knew Lizzy was looking down on us. I got that chilling up my spine as if to know Lizzy's presence was there with me. As we drove home from church, I couldn't help but to think how much Lizzy would love to be outdoors on a day like this all full of energy and conjuring up some sort of sport game somewhere with her friends. Just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you today and every day. Sure miss you Lizzy girl and love you always. Lisa M. Karl, sister Girl Scout

Hey Ms Lizzy!

Last week was spring break and mom and I went out to Camp fiddlecreek. Wow its crazy to think that the last time i was out there was with you. That was forever ago. I just wanted to say hey girl and i miss you. Day camp is getting planned again and its just not the same without us and our mommas doing it. I dont know if it will ever be. March is going by so fast and another summer is coming. I cant wait to come home. Well i love you!

I remember Lizzy best as a Girl Scout...the really great older-type Girl Scout...the one that you were happy to have your younger daughter pair up with...the one that truly liked the younger girls...the one that, instead of being bossy, showed real leadership skills and helped those younger Scouts get excited about someday being that older Scout. She was a terrific person to be around and I know she's watching over all of us...hopefully helping us stay out of trouble!

I remember just last year when me and Lizzy were in confirmation class together at our church. Right from the start I knew she was a nice person. She was always laughing and smiling at everyone. One of the funnest times in my life was going on the confirmation retreat to camp MoVal. Many pictures were taken at the camp and you can see them in the slide show but it was a blast. She never said anything mean or did anything unkind to anybody. WE LOVE U LIZZY!!!!!!!!!!
