I didn't know Lizzy Bell, as I was a year ahead of her, and don't typically talk to anyone except my best friends. But, I do know that she was an outstandingly nice person, because although I never talked to her, I noticed her, and how nice she was to other people. This is most likely because of her mother, an awsome, terribly strong lady. I say this because her mother came right back to school after Christmas Break. I know this because I saw her, and continue to see her everyday. Now, I may be wrong, but I think, it's because she has a great love for kids, and enjoys to see them accelerate in life. This post is not only for Lizzy Bell, but her mother, and her entire family. I give them the best of wishes.

I ember when...I remember when.....too many times...way too many times....shish...we'd been friends since were like three.....I considered her my best friend...I mean she spent weeks at my house sometimes...literally.....man I loved Liz like a sister....she was so awesome....she was the nicest person you'd ever meet too....I don't even think she had one single enemy....I don't know one person that doesn't like her... I remember when we went to the boundary waters...and she in that green little swimsuit...that was actually starting to fall apart...and she loved it so much she wouldn't wear another one.... I remember how she and I would send e-mail to each other...and each word of the letter would be on a different e-mail...just to be silly.... I remember whenever she would come over to my house, she would help herself to the freezer and see if there was any fudge pops....and if there was...you wouldn't count on seeing any later on that day in the freezer....one time she even ate so many it made her sick... I remember when me and her had gone to girl scout camp for a whole week for the first all alone at cederledge...we were in those A-frame things...and we had been bawling our eyes out...because we were so homesick...and that our roommates were weird because one would bite the others nails off for her...we were so weirded out about them but we still thought they were cool...and we became friends with them in that short time... Liz also had these unique facial expressions...and she was funny to watch whenever she would do or say something...and she was also a freakishly awesome actress....she would get me to believe the most out-of-this-world things....then come back five minutes later going "shish jess, you actually believed me?...your so gullible" one of the more recent thing I remembered was how if I spent a Sunday night at my dads it meant I had to go to school early about an hour or so before school actually started...and Liz was always there in the cafeteria....and it was awesome to actually have someone there in the morning to be able to talk to until class would start... Liz was always there...for me...for others...for everyone She was the best friend anyone could have...she was my best friend.... I could keep going on, but I would never end.... --Jessy--

I first seen Lizzy and Mrs. Bell this school year. I was in the hall, and I bump into Mrs. Bell and I smiled and they smiled back. The next day I seen them and said hi, and we spoke everyday since then. The most memorable thing I remeber was when Lizzy, Mrs. Bell and I was waiting on my afterschool bus, and they where in the car, and Mrs. Bell and Lizzy starts listening to rap music, and liz start dancing. We all laugh and joked the whole wait. Her smile and positive character kept my day bright. I love you and miss you so much.

Elizabeth (the Baker's always called her that) was little, she would come over to play in the fort with Riley,Megan,Thomas,Kelly & Luke, they would be all decked out in camouflage with their faces painted so no could see them.Elizabeth, however (each and every time)would be dressed in frilly dresses of velvet and lace, tights,(that never matched)black patent leather shoes or snow boots (which ever suited her mood that day) and bows in her hair.As she grew up she traded her fashion flair to soccer shorts, t-shirts and a ponytail. At Amy's wedding we saw her legs once again in a dress...we gave her trouble (as we always did because we loved her) because she looked so cute! It was truly a joy and privledge watching her grow up across the street! She will always be one of our kids! Love Lisa

Lizzie, her Dad and the two of us formed the "baby club". We were all 4 the 'babies of our families"! At first Lizzie didn't really see that being the "baby" was such a great honor.......however after we explained to her how SPECIAL babies of the family are..... she decided to join us. The smile on her face and the great hugs she gave us made being in that club even more SPECIAL!! Lizzie always made this Uncle and Aunt feel very special! At Amy's wedding she made sure we knew how thankful she was that we came. Lizzie had a habit of making eveyone around her feel special! When I think of Lizzie....I think and feel "JOY" at having the God given priviledge of being her great Uncle and Aunt and of course...... being in the "baby club" with her makes us smile. She remains in our hearts forever and we will see her again....

I visited Lizzy's 5th grade class at Geggie to read to them during reading week. She had the biggest grin on her face when she saw me walk in. She came up to me afterward to make sure I knew who she was (how could I not?) and to tell me that she signed up for German for 6th grade. Unfortunately, LeSalle didn't offer that German class, but she had Audrey make sure that I would still be here at Eureka so she could take German when she got here.

Lizzy started playing on my soccer team in second grade. It did not take long to realize Lizzy could kick the ball really far, no I mean reeeaaaly faaarrr! She had this great toe kick. I remember when we were playing our St. Alban rival team in 5th grade. The game was tied 0-0, it was a very competitive game. We were awarded a free kick right outside the penalty kick area. St. Alban put all 10 players in front of the ball in this straight wall, Dave Junge and I just smiled and said "Lizzy take the kick". Lizzy kicked the ball, the ball sailed over the 10 man wall and over the goalie's head and landed in the goal. Eureka 1 - St. Albans 0, amazing! The St. Alban's coaches, parents, and players just shook their head, they must of thought we had devine intervention (which we now know we did). Every year I gave out awards at the end of the soccer season and every year Lizzy would win the "Big Foot" award. But Lizzy could of easily won the "Best Defenseman award" , "Best Sportsman Award", "Best Leader on the Field Award", "Best Footskills Award". Or "The Most Valuable Player Award". I will miss Lizzy both on the soccer field and off, she was a great player and a great person. Love, "Coach Sutton"
